This year, with great pride, we celebrate the one-hundred year anniversary of the Adelaide Dental School. In 1917, the Dentists Act was amended to require more stringent registration and training of practitioners–these changes lead to the founding of the Faculty of Dentistry, now known as Adelaide Dental School. In 1919, the first cohort of dentistry students was accepted and the Adelaide University Dental School Society (AUDSS) was founded.
