Dr Nigel Quadros and Dr Solomon Yu During September a number of our researchers attended the 15th European Geriatric Medicine Society Conference in Krakow, Poland.
Dr Solomon Yu attended the conference where two of his research projects were presented.
Dr Nigel Quadros presented a poster on ‘Sarcopenia in Polio Survivors’ and Dr Justin Chew gave an oral presentation on ‘The association of Bioelectrical Impedance Analysis (BIA)-derived phase angle with sarcopenia in non-frail community-dwelling older adults’.
Prof Ian Cameron presented a symposium on ‘Evidence in Geriatric Rehabilitation’. Associate investigator Prof Matteo Cesari presented a symposium on ‘Frailty and resilience – the convergence of two concepts’.
