Australia’s next child oral health survey
ARCPOH is partnering with the Commonwealth Department of Health, State/Territory Health Departments and Dental Services, Australian Dental Association and Colgate Oral Care to deliver national-level evidence on child oral health and dental service delivery.
Nationwide trial for improving Indigenous youth oral health
The Indigenous Oral Health Unit, led by Director Joanne Hedges, was successful in obtaining a $3.2M MRFF-funded grant for a nationwide intervention that will work to improve the life journeys of young Indigenous Peoples and reduce the impact of dental caries.

National Dental Telephone Interview Survey (NDTIS) Findings
Findings from the National Dental Telephone Interview Survey (NDTIS) 2021 are now available with two reports released - Child Oral Health and Dental Visiting in Australia and Adult Oral Health and Access to Dental Care in Australia.

Expanding our research in HPV
Joanne Hedges and investigator team were successful in securing a 3 million dollar grant from the NHMRC to continue to track oral HPV infection on a large, representative Indigenous adult cohort.
