Expanding our research in HPV

Joanne Hedges and investigator team were successful in securing a 3 million dollar grant from the NHMRC to continue to track oral HPV infection on a large, representative Indigenous adult cohort.

The "Indigenous Australian HPV Cohort Study 2; continuation 5 to 10 years" study will monitor early throat cancer and estimate cost-effectiveness of extensive HPV vaccination coverage in culturally safe ways.
