Professor Wayne Tilley co-convenes the 15th Indo-Australian Biotechnology Conference in Adelaide

The 15th Indo-Australian Biotechnology Conference, held biennially in Australia, was hosted by the DRMCRL on 16-18 November in Adelaide.

The conference with a theme of "Contemporary strategies for the prevention and management of disease in the 2020s  was opened by Professor Caroline McMillen, Chief Scientist South Australia. Meeting highlights included special presentations by Vinod Scaria (New Delhi), Dr Mohan Rao (Adelaide), Professor Tom Calma AO (Chancellor, University of Canberra) and Professor Alex Brown (Adelaide). An outstanding line-up of Indian and Australian speakers presented their latest research advances over 3 days covering a range of contemporary health topics.
