As a Year 5 medical student in Port Pirie, your placement will include eight-to-nine weeks in obstetrics and gynaecology, and regular sessions with Crystal Brook Medical Centre, Central Clinic, Broughton Clinic and Terrace Clinic General Practice Clinics—which includes working with visiting specialists and anaesthetists. University tutorials take place several times a week, and you will also take tutorials with a local GP.
