A better quality of life is possible in aged care.
We have recently completed a Medical Research Future Fund project where we led the qualitative research evaluating the implementation of a Medicare Benefit Schedule item number for the ‘call out’ of mobile x-ray services to nursing homes for selected x-rays where hospital avoidance may be possible.
