Falls Prevention

Our research team have been active in this space with a focus not only on preventing falls in hospitals.

We are being innovative in exploring new programs that older people may engage in to reduce their risk of harm from falling.

We have published the findings from our NHMRC Project Grant funded wearable technology clinical trials and continue to work on the data collected previously.

More recently, Dr Agathe Jadczak has been funded for her collaborative project with the Adelaide University Judo Club where they hope to develop train the trainer products and evaluate the efficacy of delivering their innovative judo program through allied health practitioners.
