Katharina is a NHMRC Biomedical Researcher and Head of her own laboratory (the Richter Lab) within the Surgery Department, Basil Hetzel Institute and Queen Elizabeth Hospital, University of Adelaide.

HDA PhD Excellence Award winner 2022
Congratulations to Healthy Development Adelaide (HDA) PhD Excellence Award winner for 2022, Sarah Hammond. Sarah joins our 11th cohort of Scholars and will receive $5,000 per annum for 3 years to augment her scholarship.
HDA and Channel 7 Children’s Research Foundation PhD Excellence Award winners 2022
We thank the CRF for its ongoing financial support of the PhD Excellence Award and its partnership of 15 years helping HDA to foster research excellence and career development in South Australia. The two successful applicants, our 11th cohort will each receive $5,000 per annum for 3 years to augment their scholarships.

Travel and Development Grants 2021 – Round 1
Due to COVID-19, the Travel and Development Grants are a replacement to our standard Travel Grants scheme and is offered to enable final-year PhD students and Early Career Researchers (up to five years post-PhD) to still undertake some form of travel-related conference/research professional development in 2021.
