Student supervision

Our academic staff have significant experience and a successful track record in supervising Masters and PhD students in the field of public health. 

Professor Zachary Munn

Professor Munn is an advocate for evidence-based healthcare and an expert in systematic review, evidence implementation and guideline development. Zachary leads the Evidence Synthesis Taxonomy Initiative, has overseen dozens of systematic review projects, and contributes to global efforts to develop trustworthy evidence to inform decision making.

Dr Timothy Barker

Dr Tim Barker's expertise includes systematic review methodology, risk of bias assessment, meta-analysis, guideline development using the GRADE approach, and animal/veterinary sciences.

Dr Danielle Pollock

Dr Danielle Pollock is a world-leader in scoping reviews methodology and an expert in evidence synthesis. Danielle developed the Stillbirth Stigma Scale to assess the prevalence and type of stigma in bereaved parents. She is a well-known neonatal and infant health researcher, with a particular focus on stillbirth.

Dr Raju Kanukula

Dr Raju Kanukula is a research methodologist with extensive experience in conducting systematic reviews. Raju’s research interests include risk of bias assessments, meta-analyses, and evidence transfer.
