The Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences offers short courses and continuing professional development to support your learning at every stage of your career.
Our courses are designed to be comprehensive, but bite-sized so you can focus on topics that suit you and tailor your skills on your terms.
Nursing
We are excited to announce the first 2020 release of the Adelaide Nursing School's suite of short courses–specifically designed by our education specialists to provide extended learning and continuing professional development (CPD) for registered nurses, enrolled nurses as well as third and second-year nursing students.
We have three courses available and all will be held on Saturday 18 April, which for the first time will enable delegates to participate in multiple sessions on the same day.
ECG Interpretation

A comprehensive and practical session on ECGs-learn a systematic approach for interpretation and practice your skills in interpreting some basic rhythms as well as atrial and ventricular arrhythmias.
Knowledge Building in Day Procedure Nursing

Understand core concepts for clinical practice within the context of providing care for patients undergoing a day procedure.
Arterial Blood Gas Analysis and Common Blood Pathology Interpretation
