Public Health

Further your career and learn to think creatively about policies and practices that prevent disease and promote health.

From fighting new and emerging infectious diseases such as Ebola and Zika, to tackling major chronic diseases such as obesity or diabetes; the challenges facing public health in the 21st century are complex and require the collaborative efforts of professionals in many different fields.

Completing the Master of Public Health at the University of Adelaide has brought me recognition as an expert in public safety within the Metropolitan Fire Service. My studies have given me methods to analyse problems, and the confidence to seek better solutions.
Mick Smith, Deputy Chief Fire Officer, MFS Adelaide
