PARC Clinical Research is a high acuity clinical trials unit in the Royal Adelaide Hospital and it was developed in collaboration between the University of Adelaide and CALHN. The unit meets the continuing demand for high quality clinical research infrastructure in the State, builds research capacity, and provides ongoing opportunities for healthcare innovation and collaboration.
It provides a visible State focus for more complex or higher acuity clinical trials, through provision of safe high-quality facilities, through ready access to both clinicians and facilities for diagnosis and management of a wide range of medical conditions, and through input from highly regarded and experienced research teams. As such, it is a facility that effectively complements other trials units within the new Health Precinct, and in other regions and institutions in S.A.
