Please join us for our Health Matters discussion presented by Professor John Beard:

A Vision Of Healthy Ageing

Populations around the world are rapidly ageing.

In 2015, the World Health Organisation released the comprehensive World Report on Ageing and Health, which provided a clear framework for global action to foster 'Healthy Ageing'. The report re-framed the concept of Healthy Ageing away from a focus on the absence of disease and instead looked at what enables older people to do the things they value.

Please join Professor Beard as he explores the way this new paradigm can re-frame how society approaches this major demographic shift, and how it will affect each of us.
