Adelaide Exposure Science and Health offers a range of laboratory services on a fee for service basis.
Our laboratory is equipped with modern scientific equipment and analytical instrumentation, and we pride ourselves on providing quality service to our clients.
All of our laboratory staff are qualified research scientists and are able to discuss individual needs with each of our clients, rather than following a standard ‘one size fits all’ approach. Given the research and development background of our staff we can expand upon our standard services and welcome enquiries relating to more complex and challenging analyses.
Our dedicated experts specialise in providing tailored services centred on enhancing safety and performance across industries. Contact us directly to discuss your specific laboratory analysis needs.
Standard laboratory services we offer include:
Our laboratory is equipped with a range of analytical instrumentation (including UV-Vis, HPLC, GC, GCMS) for the analysis of chemical contaminants, including:
- organophosphate pesticides
Our laboratory has developed in-house HPLC UV methods for the analysis of cytotoxic drugs from surface wipe samples. The range of cytotoxic chemicals we currently analyse are:
- 5-fluorouracil (5-FU)
Please contact the laboratory to discuss a potential occupational wipe sample analysis for cytotoxic drugs and specific detection limits.
Our laboratory is fully equipped to perform air monitoring for fungi or mould using commercial samplers. Collected samples are assessed in the laboratory for enumeration with results expressed as colony forming units (CFU) per cubic meter of air (m3) and compared to reference samples collected outdoors.
The laboratory is also able to provide:
- advice on sampling/analysis techniques on all analyses we provide
- evaluation of skin absorption of chemicals (In vitro testing, OECD protocol)
- glove and CPC permeation testing
- interpretation of results
- PPE service life evaluations
