Dentistry

School of Dentistry

The School has a long and distinguished history of innovation in its teaching and research. Its programs include the Bachelor of Dental Surgery and the Bachelor of Oral Health together with a range of postgraduate courses.

School of Paediatrics and Reproductive Health

The school was formed in March 2006 following the restructure of the Faculty of Health Sciences and comprises of the Discipline of Paediatrics and the Discipline of Obstetrics and Gynaecology.

School of Medical Sciences

The School offers a dynamic research-intensive environment that nurtures the development of our students to their full potential, and fosters excellence in interdisciplinary research and teaching.

School of Population Health and Clinical Practice

The School is one of the six Schools in the Faculty of Health Sciences created when the Faculty was restructured in 2005.

School of Medicine

The School is a part of the Faculty of Health Sciences, incorporating the disciplines of Anaesthesia and Intensive Care, Medicine, Ophthalmology, Orthopaedics and Trauma, Surgery and Psychiatry.

School of Psychology

Psychology was first taught in 1896 by Professor William Mitchell under ‘Logic and Psychology’, taught in the faculty of Arts as part of a Master of Arts Degree. Today the subject Psychology can be taken in eight different undergraduate degree programs.
