There are currently 30 Indigenous students enrolled across the Faculty of Health Sciences, Adelaide University in 2009. Students are enrolled in Medicine, Dentistry, Oral Health, Nursing and Health Science programs.

There are currently an estimated 129 Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander doctors and 129 Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander medical students in Australia. The AIDA website has more detailed information on Indigenous Doctor numbers.
