Research Areas

The School of Paediatrics and Reproductive Health has an international reputation for research in many aspects of reproduction and child health. Discipline of Paediatrics

The Discipline of Paediatrics has a wide range of basic science and clinical Research Programs undertaken by its own staff, and has a significant number of undergraduate and postgraduate research activities.

The Discipline has links with other research groups in the Women's and Children's Hospital (Children, Youth and Women's Health Service) and with the Child Health Research Institute, as well as a strong involvement in the administrative aspects of research in the hospital.

Discipline of Obstetrics and Gynaecology

The Discipline of Obstetrics and Gynaecology is a leading centre for research in many aspects of reproduction. It has an international reputation in a number of Research Areas, including maternal-fetal physiology, circadian physiology, reproductive immunology, embryology, advanced reproductive technology and perinatology.

Robinson Institute

The University of Adelaide has established a new research institute, the Robinson Institute, focussing on reproductive health, intergenerational health and new stem cell research that will tackle some of the big issues of prevention of illness for individuals and their offspring through lifestyle choices.
