Undergraduate Programs

The School of Paediatrics and Reproductive Health contributes to the undergraduate teaching program of the Faculty of Health Sciences, leading to the degrees of MBBS and B Health Sc. The School is involved in teaching medical students during their 1st, 2nd and 5th years.

Students undertaking the MBBS degree have the opportunity to undertake the Honours Degree of Bachelor of Medical Sciences (HB.MedSc) program full-time after their 3rd year, before continuing into the 4th year of medicine. The program may also be undertaken part-time over two years, but MBBS students must seek approval to undertake part-time Honours concurrently with their medical degree.
