Honours in the School of Medical Sciences
How Do I Apply ?
To be eligible for entry into an Honours Program you must have a minimum Credit average in 3rd year subjects, with a major in the discipline you wish to study in.
Check out the links below with the disciplines and the projects on offer, then visit the labs where the research is taking place. This step is vital - if you don’t talk about the project, you may find that you end up doing something that you weren’t expecting from the description in the booklet!
Download and complete the School of Medical Sciences Honours Application form. This form must be signed by the potential Honours supervisor and submitted along with a current academic transcript to the Honours Coordinator via School of Medical Sciences Office (Room 131a, Medical School North Building).
Students are strongly advised to complete the application process by the second week in December to ensure that they can be placed in a research area of their interest. Nonetheless, some Honours projects may still be available in January and students are still be able to apply for Honours in January.
