Welcome to The School of Medical Sciences. The information contained on this, and subsequent, pages is designed to provide you with access to all the resources you need to help you get the best out of your time as a student within the School. Travel Support

The School of Medical Sciences Postgraduate Travel Award is a competitive scheme intended to provide financial support for eligible applicants in order to further their research career by attending national and international conferences.

Up to $1500 is available for international travel and up to $750 for national travel.
Students are eligible to receive one award for international travel and one award for national travel over the course of their candidature (3.5 years for full time students).

Students are encouraged to combine the School of Medical Sciences Postgraduate Travel Award with other travel award schemes offered, within the University and externally.

Please Note: Students enrolled in Physiology prior to 2010 will continue to be supported by the old Physiology Travel Award and are therefore not eligible for the new of School of Medical Sciences Postgraduate Travel Award. For details regarding the old Physiology Award, please contact Associate Professor Mike Nordstrom. (Students enrolled in Physiology from 2010 are eligible for the School of Medical Sciences Postgraduate Travel Award)

Applications can be submitted at any time to the School Research Committee (please email to martin.hutchens@adelaide.edu.au). The School Research Committee will meet to review all applications.

Disability Services

The Student Centre
Provide campus maps, program and course information brochures, computers for general use and printing. You can pay your fees, collect graduation certificates, purchase academic transcripts. You also can purchase extra printing and internet quota.
