Online Enrolment 2010

At The University of Adelaide, all undergraduate students enrol online via Access Adelaide. For Bachelor of Health Sciences students, online enrolment opens for:

  • continuing students on Wednesday 6th January 2010, from 1:00 pm.
  • commencing (new) students on Wednesday 27th January 2010, from 1:00 pm

Please note: Students are strongly encouraged to enrol as soon as possible once the enrolment period opens to ensure access to the greatest range of available class times for your preferred laboratory or tutorial class for a course. If you delay your enrolment, you may find that the laboratory and/or tutorial class you want is already full!!

2010 Enrolment - Commencing (New) Students

  • There will be an important pre-enrolment seminar for all commencing students on:
    Thursday 28th January 2010, 11:00-12:00 noon,
    Chapman Lecture Theatre, Engineering North, N158

    During this seminar, students will learn more about the structure of the Bachelor of Health Sciences program and the course (subject) and pathway choices available. Commencing students are strongly encouraged to attend this presentation.

  • Immediately following this seminar, each student will have the opportunity to talk one-on-one with a Bachelor of Health Sciences Program Adviser to further discuss course and pathway choices. Should they be required, these meetings, which are expected to last 10-15 minutes, will be held in room S127 from 12:00 noon - 4:30 pm. Please note that priority for these meetings will be given to country and interstate students.

    • Additional One-on-One academic advice is available by appointment to commencing students from Friday 29th January to Wednesday 3rd February 2010 as follows:

      • To book an appointment with a Program Adviser about Medical Sciences and/or Psychology pathways and course options within the BHlthSc program, please telephone Mrs Karen Nunes-Vaz, School of Medical Sciences on 830 35571 from Monday 18th January 2010.  Advisers will be available between the hours of 9:30 am and 12:30 pm.
      • To book an appointment with a Program Adviser about the Public Health pathway or course options within the BHlthSc program, please telephone Ms Angela Noble, Discipline of Public Health on 830 34637.  The Public Health Adviser, Dr Adriana Milazzo will be available by appointment only.

      From Thursday 4th  February 2010 onwards, please telephone Mrs Karen Nunes-Vaz, Bachelor of Health Sciences Administrative Officer on 830 35571 if you have a general inquiry about the BHlthSc program, or if you wish to book an appointment or speak with a Program Adviser.

  • Students will be able to enrol online in the Faculty of Health Sciences Computing Suite, Room S118, Medical School South, Level 1, from Wednesday 27th from 1:00 pm onwards.
  • Full-time students should enrol in the core courses Human Biology IA/B and Public Health IA/B before enrolling in elective courses. Note that some courses listed as suitable electives may not be timetable compatible with the core courses or certain other elective courses (for more information see Planning Your Degree or discuss this with a Program Adviser).

2010 Enrolment - Continuing Students

  • Continuing students will be able to enrol online from Wednesday 6th January 2010, 1.00pm. The Faculty of Health Sciences Computing Suite, Room S118, Medical School South, will be open should students wish to enrol on campus.
  • Program Advisers will also be available for consultation by appointment only. Please telephone the School of Medical Sciences Office, 8303 5341, to make an appointment with a Program Adviser.
