Information for International Students who are interested in higher degree by research study (PhD or Masters) at the University of Adelaide, is available on the University’s International postgraduate research webpage.

The Postgraduate Research Prospectus 2010 has information about application and scholarships (refer: page 32 onwards).

There are a number of international postgraduate scholarship opportunities, including:

  • Endeavour International and Adelaide Scholarships International  (Please note the closing date for complete IPRS/ASI/AFSI applications is by 31 August annually.) 
    ASI scholarships may be available to outstanding international students from any country undertaking postgraduate research in any academic discipline. The closing date for consideration in  an ASI round is 15 May 2010.
  • AGFS Scholarships Applicants must be currently enrolled at the University of Adelaide or have completed a program at the University in 2008 and must meet the entry requirements for admission into a research program (Masters by Research or Doctor of Philosophy).  Closing date for AGFS applications: 31 October 2009.
  • Joint China Scholarship Council (CSC) and University of Adelaide Scholarships for students from the People's Republic of China.
  • Several scholarship programs are available to support AusAID Scholars in the Asia-Pacific region.
