Faculty 2009 Postgraduate Research EXPO!

The 2009 Postgraduate Research Expo was held on the 1st of September 2009 in the Hickinbotham Hall at the National Wine Centre Adelaide.

Senior and more junior PhD candidates presented their posters in the morning sessions.  In the afternoon there were seven oral presentatons from selected PhD candidates.

Congratulations to the following prize winners:-

Best Oral Presentation (1 prize of $1,000): Jarred Sandow

Best Poster Presentations (7 prizes of  $1,000):- Michelle Lee; Andrew Trotta; Emma Gordon; Kelly Betterman; Danijela Menicanin; Christine Barry & Dennis Lau

A further prize was awarded to Kathryn Gebhardt by ARI Pty Ltd for best poster with potential for commercialisation.

Honours & Higher Degrees study in the Health Sciences in 2010

There are many projects available faculty-wide in Health Sciences Schools and in Research Institutes and Research Centres; some of which have scholarships attached.

The outcomes of the major admission and scholarship round for 2010 for Australian & NZ citizens and permanent residents will be announced in December 2009.

The major admission and scholarship round for international students closes annually on 31 August.
