Help Seeking and Health Service Use Among Ageing Men

James was awarded a Florey Medical Research PhD Scholarship to pursue the above project as a joint candidate in both the Department of Public Health and Department of Medicine at the University of Adelaide. This work forms a component of the Florey Adelaide Male Ageing Study (FAMAS), a collaborative project aiming to determine the health status and health related behaviours of men residing in the North Western suburbs of Adelaide. James is investigating men's help seeking and health service use qualitatively, with the intent of guiding policy development aimed at improving the provision of health services for men throughout Australia.
