About the Discipline
Public Health is a multi-disciplinary teaching and research discipline. We have particular research strengths in women's and children's health, health services and health systems research, and environmental health - especially communicable diseases and occupational health.
The Primary Educator of the South Australian Public Health Workforce
The Discipline provides education for public health personnel in the Bachelor of Health Sciences (and Honours), the Master of Public Health, and the Master of Occupational Health and Safety Management through to its Research Higher Degree program, as well as intensive courses. The Discipline has welcomed many international students from Asia, Africa, the Middle East and elsewhere. For further information, prospective students should contact the University's University Contact Centre.
