The Research Program of Psychiatry at the University of Adelaide focuses on the etiology and pathophysiology of psychiatric disorders and on the translation of this research into clinical practice. An emphasis is on the emerging basic science and clinical experience with the regenerational potential of the Brain and Mind of individuals affected by severe Psychiatric Disorders. In distinct research groups, the causes, pathophysiology and regenerative potential is studied by applying a variety of research approaches form basic to clinical sciences.
