Professional Affiliations: Member of the International Society of Critical Health Psychology
Teaching: My teaching is currently focussed on the supervision of research students at Honours and PhD level. I am a previous recipient of the Stephen Cole the Elder Award for Excellence in Teaching for undergraduate teaching in psychology.
Research Interests: My research interests are primarily in the area of qualitative and critical health psychology. In particular, I have a strong interest in public health and health psychology, with a focus on issues related to risk and prevention. I am also particularly interested in gendered health issues. My research typically draws on qualitative methodologies. I have an additional interest in research concerned with learning and teaching at tertiary levels.
