Clinical Pharmacology

Clinical Pharmacology Pharmacology is a clinically applied science. Clinical pharmacology deals with the effects of drugs and their fate in the body specifically in the human species.  An understanding of drugs is necessary for the diagnosis, prevention and treatment of disease.

Clinical pharmacology provides a range of scientific methods that predict and assess potential usefulness and toxicity of new drugs and, often, of existing drugs proposed for a new use in humans.
