Dr Kearney completed his MB,BS at the University of Adelaide in 1997, before training in Anatomical Pathology at the Institute of Medical and Veterinary Science, obtaining a Fellowship of the Royal College of Pathologists of Australasia in 2004.

He is currently a Consultant Pathologist for SA Pathology at the RAH, and has a particular interest in lymph node pathology and lymphoma diagnosis.  He actively participates in the teaching of pathology registrars and medical students.
