The cord takes a reasonably tight turn through the strap to stop it slipping.

I could be possible to glue some sort of sleeve along the cord that attaches to the clip.

This has served me well for 2 years and has been trodden on a few times.

The black plastic rectangle on the guitar strap is for my beloved Pandora.
