Women's & Children's Hospital

This Discipline, which has a number of research programs underway has its primary relationships with the Discipline of Paediatrics, University of Adelaide, but has a close relationship with the University Discipline of Orthopaedics and Trauma and is represented in this Discipline of Orthopaedic and Trauma Committee by Mr Bruce Foster. Mr Andrew Sutherland is Director of Orthopaedics.

Bruce Foster, the Chairman of Bone Growth Foundation, reported that the Foundation celebrated its 10th anniversary and has expanded its Research program.

CJ Xian and BK Foster: Project grant award of $42,000 from the Channel-7 Children's Research Foundation of SA. Project: "Roles of injury-induced inflammatory response in bone bridge formation at the fractured growth plate cartilage". (2002 June).
