Dr. Zhan Yao

Dr Zhan Yao finished her undergraduate degree in Medicine at Qingdao University Medical College in 1992. Dr. ZhanYao then began her career in Ophthalmology and has had many years experience especially in cataract, glaucoma and oculo plastic surgery.

Research Interests

Her present research project focuses on the prevalence and the risk factors of ocular disorders among persons in 40s or older in Sri Lanka. The project aims mainly at the aspects of the refractive error and the cataract whiles the vector analysis will be introduced to resolve the astigmatism.
