Local and international public health Ophthalmology, particularly that which involves developing regions.
Innovative surgical equipment and/or technique

Current Projects

As part of the South Australian Institute of Ophthalmology I am researching the epidemiology of cataract in rural Myanmar and rural Sri Lanka. Results from this research are already being employed to improve cataract surgical services in those regions.
