Glaucoma Research Centre

The Centre is responsible for the numerous multi centre clinical trials of a variety of new glaucoma medications which are conducted across the 3 hospitals. In addition, it is running several studies on the outcomes, costs and trends involved in glaucoma management. The basic science research is based at the Ophthalmic Research Laboratories at the Hanson Institute and is focused on the pathophysiology of glaucoma in addition to neuroprotection strategies.
