Human Reproductive Health III
The Discipline of Obstetrics and Gynaecology teaches a third year Semester 2 course in the Bachelor of Health Sciences: Human Reproductive Health III.
This course aims to introduce students to a wide range of topics in human reproductive health covering basic biology, psychology and technologies associated with reproductive health and disease. Students will gain a sophisticated understanding of the social, medical, scientific, moral and ethical issues associated with human reproduction and its regulation at the individual, social and global levels. In addition, the importance of reproduction, particularly the prenatal environment, on future child and adult health will be discussed.
