The University offers a number of scholarships to potential and currently enrolled undergraduate and postgraduate students, and there are also many others funded by industry and non-profit organisations.

Just one example is our Research Travel Scholarships, which enable talented students—and that could be you—to study abroad at some of the most prestigious institutions in the world. It’s an experience that could open the way for you to engage in cross or in-discipline collaboration with top researchers the world over.

Study overseas

As an Adelaide Nursing School student you’ll have the opportunity to study overseas through study tours in Asia and Europe. For example, as a Level 3 nursing student you can travel to Germany and Austria, Singapore or Japan, to take part in clinical placements/observations. These programs—part of the Nursing in an International Context course—combine academic study at a partner institution with placements in local hospitals. For more information about studying overseas as a nursing student, contact fhmsglobal@adelaide.edu.au.

Student clubs

University isn’t all work and no play. Joining a student club is a great way to pursue other interests and meet new people. From sports and hobbies to politics and culture, the University of Adelaide has a wide range of student clubs for you to consider. As a nursing student, however, you may find the Adelaide Nursing Students’ Society and Adelaide Health Sciences Society of particular interest.
