Professorial Seminar SeriesThe Seminar Series focuses on the growing number of research traditions adopted by nursing researchers and examines their origins; their purposes; and emerging debates on their appropriateness and utility in nursing science. The series is designed primarily to encourage discussion between higher degree students in the Discipline of Nursing. Higher degree supervisors and members of the Discipline of Nursing in the School of Population Health and Clinical Practice are very welcome to participate (including both salaried and honorary staff of the Discipline of Nursing). Each Seminar Session will start off with a broad introduction, followed by a twenty minute presentation of a discussion paper. Each discussion paper will raise issues to generate debate and general discussion. Discussion papers will be presented by academic staff of the Discipline of Nursing who are available for higher degree-by-research supervision. Seminar Participants are advised to access and read papers suggested by each presenter, prior to the seminar. More information is available at the School of Population Health and Clinical Practice. |
