Samantha started in the department in 2002 to coordinate the Graduate Diploma in Nursing Science (Orthopaedics). She has over 10 years clinical experience in the area of orthopaedics, including a period as chairperson for the South Australian Orthopaedic Nurses Association, Staff Development Educator for orthopaedics and Clinical Nurse Consultant for approximately 6 years.

Samantha works part time for the department and the rest of the time is spent with her two, very active, young boys. If she had leisure time it is believed she would like to read a novel, play basketball or do some gardening.
