Katrina has recently joined the Disciline of Nursing as Coordinator for the Graduate Diploma Nursing Science (Acute Care Nursing), bringing with her 20 years of nursing expertise in Intensive Care, High Dependency, Recovery and Medical-Surgical areas.

Katrinas goals for the students participating in this program include:

• The students will be armed with the knowledge and insight to ensure timely patient interventions promoting positive patient outcomes.
  
• The value of current research findings will be appreciated and applied in the clinical field. - The students will become valuable members of the multi- disciplinary team.

In her personal time Katrina enjoys her four children, renovating, gardening and walking.
