From January 2004 Liz is the SA Representative on the Cancer Nurses Society of Australia National Executive Committee.

Liz joined the department in December 2001 and is the clinical lecturer for the Post Graduate Diploma in Nursing Science (Oncology Nursing) and coordinator of the Post Graduate Certificate in Nursing Science (Apheresis)

Her postgraduate nursing experiences have been varied since arriving from New Zealand, with jobs in both hospital and community settings. However, cancer nursing has always been Liz's main interest and prior to joining the department she worked at the Peter MacCullum Cancer Institute in Victoria and the Cancer Centre at the Royal Adelaide Hospital.
Liz has completed the Graduate Diploma in Nursing Science (Oncology), has an oncology certificate from the Peter MacCullum Institute and a certificate in Stomal Therapy Nursing.
