Compete for the prize: a free dinner for your team

All students who participate will also be given a certificate for their professional portfolio.

What are the rules?

On Friday 13 October, students from the different degrees will compete together in groups of four to respond to a health-related case study. The teams will be presented with the case on the day and will work together to construct a response that covers each of their team members' area of study.

Each team will then give a 5-10 minute presentation of their response to a panel of judges and their fellow teams. The winning team will be awarded a certificate and team prize!

  • Teams can consist of four students from any year level of the Bachelor of Nursing, Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery, Bachelor of Dental Surgery, Bachelor of Oral Health and Bachelor of Psychological Science.
  • Only one student from each degree can be represented in each team.
  • Teams of three are acceptable.

How does it work?

The teams will meet for lunch and a quick briefing at 12 pm at G030 Lecture Theatre, Adelaide Health and Medical Sciences building. Pizza will be supplied. Each team will also be given the case scenario. In your teams, you will have one hour to prepare a response that addresses the case and demonstrates the IPL principles.

Each team will then have 5-10 minutes to present their response to a panel of Professor Nicky Hudson and Dr Frank Donnelly. The team that blends together a clinical response while demonstrating their IPL capacity wins.

The winning team may take themselves to dinner at a time and date of their choosing, and everyone receives a certificate of participation.
