    Research Infrastructure Funding Awards

    One of the strategic research priority areas for the Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences Research Committee is the provision of funding for research infrastructure, to facilitate research by supporting the purchase of critical new or replacement infrastructure.  Bids for research capability including equipment, software packages or other services are eligible. Please see the appropriate attached file for the application form.

    Early Career Researcher Mentored Project Development Program

    The Early Career Researcher (ECR) Mentored Project Development Program is designed to foster a productive mentor-mentee relationship between an ECR (mentee) and a senior academic staff member (mentor). The ECR will work closely with a mentor of their choice to co-develop a new area of research. The mentor will guide the ECR throughout the process and help the ECR develop the skills and independence necessary to make them competitive for local or national funding applications (small projects or fellowships). There will be up to ten ECR mentored Project Development Grants awarded to the value of $10k - $15K each.

    Applications are invited for the 2017 Research Travel Awards (round two)

    The Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences Research Travel Awards are intended to facilitate national and international travel for researchers to attend and present at conferences, build collaborations, network and to communicate and promote research. Research travel awards of up to $1,000 will be offered for national travel and up to $3,000 for international travel for research staff.
