Oral Pathology

Oral pathology is the speciality of dentistry and sub-discipline of pathology that is concerned with the nature, identification and management of diseases affecting the oral and maxillofacial regions.

The practice of oral pathology includes the diagnosis of diseases using clinical, radiographic, microscopic, biochemical or other diagnostic information, professional and interactive contribution to the management of patients, research and a responsibility for the dissemination of professional knowledge to other in the health professions and to the public.
